SMART Objective: Creating a Short Comic

 For my Concept and Comic Art project, I will design my own character, with a warrior-like personality. I will create this character from multiple angles, and also in a combat for action scene.

The character gesture will be like on this example, so I want to create a women character for my project and I have few style ideas about her. I want it young between 20-24 strong, fast, clever, alone, and problems with someone in her life or her family, living in a completely different world than us, kind of a Assassin, Maybe a warrior that part is not completely visible for me, I still have issues with how to start but I am searching the data through the internet, This is just a start...

Creating a Website: Concept & Comic Art

 Today I am writing to make my website on Wix. This is how I make the website. I began with choosing a template from the site. I found this one is attractive and will be good with my work.

I change the background picture and text, and added my name and my profession on left top corner.

I want it more simple, and choose the image from the site of Wix, the portfolio, about and the contact buttons are settled on the right top left corner

I then leave the font as it was cause I like the simplest look of it. I previewed for last check, luckily there was no problem with any text or the background.

I will continue to work on the other things on website through the term.

Major Project: Initial Ideas

I'm going to make my first Major project for Digital Media. My first idea was make character designs for the comic book that I want to create in the future.

I found this image will be useful for my for my major project, I like this image because of the X-Men series. It was published at October 30, 2024. This is an 80s Australian era, including the classic "Colossus: God's Country"!  I found this image by searching a comic artist, I found Jim Lee and he is started as an artist at Marvel in 1987.

I was also thinking about The Amazing Spider-Man. Gil Kane was involved in the anti-drug storyline in The Amazing Spider-Man this series published at March 1963. This was the best comic series that ever created and the story telling inspires me for my concept works.

First of all I need a idea about character that I am going make so I search videos for ideas.

Multi-pack Bag Pack Advertisement

 Multi-Pack Bag packs: Pack Mate

  My idea was bag pack for daily use carrying a lot of stuff at the same time   like  your phone, keys, laptop or camera,   power bank, charger. There is a space   for everything! It's perfectly useful for   school, work or travel.

First, I searched for background to my brand Pack Mate

I started searching background images, first i tried black background but then I realized the logo that I'm trying to download on Tailor Brand Web Site wants me to subscribe to use the image because of that I'll go whit white background.

                 

Then I found a image of the product, I choose this one because its simple and there is no logo on it.

And then I putted the image on Pixlr to edit the image...

I didn't like the background color and changed it to white, then I couldn't think of anything else to add and...

After that I thought if I add a real person to show the adventure and nature will be more effective in the advertisement, found this image for editing.

After that I putted the image on pixlr and added a text, changed the color, curve, and shadow, on right top corner there is my logo, product in the middle and lastly the website is at the bottom.

At the end this is the ad of PackMate (Multi-pack Bagpack).

 

It's seems nice and understandable for my opinion, I liked the slogans curved look and I think its well blended with the picture, I am glad to find this image for background cause without that it's looking terrible.

Advert Ideas N Plan...

Today's task is making an advertisement to sell a sort of product, my ideas about this are:

• In game purchase (Game Credits)

• Multi-pack Bag packs 

• Toothpaste

Idea One: In Game Credits

This is the Screenshot of My Market 

I know a lot of people that dying to buy new cosmetics for their items in the game, and This advertisement targets on gamer community, aren't just for teens. Gamers all of the ages can  show of their experience truly.

 I am interest to advertise this because i love it too and why play the game at the same way as the others, while you can customize your inventory and cosmetics in your unique style to show people your way to play game.

This is my first idea about advertising (in game purchase).

Idea Two: Multi-Pack Bag packs

This image shows backpacks are for carrying your essentials  without making any complements it's a simple design that focuses on function not look. I putted this image because the sentence "If your backpack says something about you, tell shut up and carry your stuff" is funny and memorable for people seen this ad at the streets. The design is kind of simple but the way of advertising is making it more interesting.

 Multi-pack Bag Packs are very useful for   carrying a lot of stuff at the same time   like  your phone, keys, laptop or camera,   power bank, charger. There is a space   for everything! It's perfectly useful for   school, work or travel.

Idea Three: Toothpaste

This image illustrates Toothpaste. From my point of view, it showcases the strength of the toothpaste in an entertaining way. I want to include this image because it showing an interesting and unique marketing strategy for promoting a toothpaste.

This toothpaste keeps your teeth white, strengthens them, and gives fresh breath for longer time than other brands. It also protects your gums

Practice Advert

     Today we are going to create practice advert using Pixlr E. This will be a charity advert.

    I began by choosing image on Unplash that were copyright free, then opened Pixlr E and chose create new. Then I went to dialog box and clicked print and chose A4 landscape and leaving the canvas white.

To insert the image I added a new layer and selected image in the drop down to select the image from my files, then using the transform tool I fit the image to the canvas.

I then wanted to make a tagline so I clicked on the text tool the left hand side menu and then I added a text layer. I then used the text tool menu to change the font to Georgia for my line. I then clicked on the fil to change colour which I changed to shade grey to mach the image colour palette.

At the end I finished the advertising image about Fennec Foxes and I think if I had time I will change a few things like adding more text, changing the logo style or transparency but this for a short review of how i done.
